The cabins are dovetail cedar log buildings – built in the fall of 2010. Officially opened in mid-February 2011. They are both winterized, fully modern with new furnishings and quite stylish. Also have large gas fireplace and are heated with in-floor radiant heating. All cabins face the waterfront and have excellent evening sunset views in the summer. They are 24feet (L) x 20feet (W) in size with an upper loft (12feet x 20feet wide). The cabins each sleep up to 6 guests comfortably. Two (2) Cots can also be made available if needed. On the main floor there is a master bedroom equipped with one queen sized bed with an on-suite washroom (stand up shower). There are two (2) single-sized beds situated up in the loft and a pull-out bed situated in the living room couch. LOFT: Please be advised, children must be at least 12 years of age to be in loft and supervision is required. PET FRIENDLY: We at Bayside Resort are pet friendly. Pets are permitted in rental cabins only with prior approval from the Owner/Operator. Please inform Owner/Operator of what size and breed of pet you plan to bring to the Resort. Pet owners are fully responsible for cleaning up of any/all of their pets refuse. Pets are not allowed on cabin furniture at any time during your stay. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up-to-date on rabies vaccinations and all other vaccinations. Heartworm prevention is highly recommended. All pets are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. All above items are the sole responsibility of the pet owner. The cabin Owner/Operator assumes no responsibility for any illness or injury that may incur to renters or their pets while on premises. RESPECT: Please respect the property, buildings, furnishings, and watch your children well. NOISE RESTRICTIONS With respect for other guests staying at the Bayside Resort and the tranquility of the premises all renters are requested to adhere to Quiet Hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM each evening. CANOE USAGE: A canoe, paddles and life jackets are available for use by Resort guests. Certain rules apply for usage…Only those over 16 years of age are permitted to utilize the canoes with an ADULT parent/guardian. SHORT-TERM (ONE TO THREE NIGHTS): Linens and towels will be supplied for guests. Please bring your own beach towels. Bath towels as supplied are not permitted to be removed from the cabin for beach activities. LONGER TERM RENTERS/GUESTS: Bath towels WILL NOT be supplied for long term renters – Please bring in your own supplies of these items for the length of your stay. Conveniently there is a Laundromat situated in downtown Wikwemikong for your laundering needs. DAILY MAID SERVICES: Please note that there is ‘No Daily Maid Service’ included within the rental rate, however is available at an additional rate. If daily maid services are subsequently required during your lengthened stay please discuss your cleaning needs with the Owner/Operator and an additional rate will then be presented to you. This rate will of course depend on the amount of cleaning to be done in your cabin. If needed, there are garbage cans provided on site as well as extra bags and cleaning supplies. CELL PHONE USAGE: Like most cabin rentals there are no phones in these cabins, nor is there internet services, yet the use of your personal cell phones is recommended. Cell service works in this specific area. A new Bell Canada cell tower is situated close by to cabin's location which provides even better cell service when at the cabins (4-5 bars). |
